Rock out at the annual Rock N Roll Marathon! The 16th annual Rock n' Roll Marathon sprints into San Diego on June 2nd. This 26.2 mile marathon features live music lining the streets, cheer squads, and a huge post-marathon concert to end the race with a bang. The race route will feature more than 9 miles along San Diego’s scenic waterfront, include a stretch through PETCO Park and a 13.1-mile half marathon. With more than 20,000 runners and 100,000 enthusiastic spectators, this popular event is not to be missed!

The 2013 San Diego County Fair theme is “Game On” and it will be showcasing many of the games we grew up with. From classic and nostalgic to those enhanced by technology, games of all kinds reach across generations and cultures bringing families and friends together for fun and quality time. At the 2013 county fair, visitors will see how board, pinball, television, video and computer games have evolved over the years.
The 2012 Fair broke another all-time attendance record for the fourth year in a row with a grand total of 1,517,508 guests and we want to thank everybody who attended.
The 2013 San Diego County Fair will open on Saturday June 8 through Thursday, July 4 and will be closed the first three Mondays, June 10, 17 & 24.

This two day Pride Festival in Balboa Park has become a premier PRIDE event in California.
San Diego Pride's famous cultural Festival includes multiple stages of entertainment, more than 80 musicians, bands, comedy and dance performers, 300 participating vendor booths, an Art exhibit, cultural presentations, and great food! The annual San Diego LGBT Pride Parade is the 4th largest in the United States attracting over 200,000 cheering spectators and significant media participation.

In it's 60th year, the Over the Line Tourmament features fast-paced beach softball, limited to 1,200 teams of three persons each, playing almost 2,400 games in two weekends with 52,000 expected to attend. Play is from 7:30 a.m. to dusk. The event takes place on beaches of Fiesta Island on Mission Bay.

San Diego’s favorite kick-off to the holiday season, Balboa Park December Nights, will take place for the 36th consecutive year on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7. In the spirit of the holidays, participating Balboa Park museums open their doors free of charge from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. both evenings. The largest free community festival in San Diego, December Nights is expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors over two days.
Entertainment, wonderful food and holiday cheer are all part of this classic and elaborate San Diego celebration. Long-standing traditions—including food from around the globe at the International Christmas Festival at the House of Pacific Relations Cottages; the charming Santa Lucia Procession at the San Diego Museum of Man; unique gift shopping at the museum stores and with the artisans of Spanish Village; and musical and dance presentations from the San Diego Junior Theatre, San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, Del Cerro Baptist’s Christmas Story Tree and more—fill the heart of Balboa Park.
