Best of Pacific Terrace: 2022 Year in Review
2022 was a landmark year for us here at Pacific Terrace. As we begin another year, we’re inspired to look back at the fond memories we made over the last calendar span — even as we look forward to making all new ones in 2023. The holidays are always such a magical time. And since they’ve only just passed, they’re very fresh in our mind. Whether we were welcoming guests visiting San Diego to see family during seasonal celebrations, or snowbirds hoping to escape harsh weather in colder parts of the country, one thing’s for sure: our guests are always treated to peak hospitality in one of the most beautiful beach cities in the world. And thanks to our New Year’s Eve celebration, our festive Santa letter writing station, and even poolside S’mores, It was a happy holidays here!
Fire Dance Fridays

Friday nights were easily the hottest of the week all summer — and it was only partially because of San Diego’s legendarily warm climate. Fire Dancer Fiora Firefly brought the heat to our poolside patio with her blazingly beautiful artistry, and kicked off our weekends in sizzling style. Guests were mesmerized by her performances, as were we.

This year, Pacific Terrace was thrilled to host actress Paris Berelc (of Disney’s “Mighty Med” and “Alexa & Katie” on Netflix), and fitness guru Rhys Athayde on a beachfront couples’ getaway. There’s just nothing like a relaxing oceanside escape, and Paris and Rhys couldn’t have been better guests. We look forward to welcoming them back!

If there’s a better recharge than sipping a poolside beverage under the warm San Diego sun, we have yet to discover it. That’s a big part of why Pacific Terrace offered a different selection of signature cocktails every month during 2022. Seriously — how good does April’s combo of Peach Bellini and Pink Señorita look? Just wait and see what we’ll be mixing up in 2023!
Stunning Ocean Sunsets

San Diego is famous for a lot of great reasons; our theme parks, melting pot “foodie” culture, and awesome weather are some of the biggest. But far and away, the thing our guests comment upon most frequently? The absolutely breathtaking sunsets. Pacific Terrace is perfectly positioned such that unwinding on your private balcony while watching the sun slip below the horizon is a nightly ritual.
