Our hot breakfast buffet is served daily from 7am - 10:30am and features an assortment of American breakfast favorites including scrambled eggs, toast, bacon & sausage, french toast, yogurt, yogurt parfait, cereal, hot oatmeal, fresh fruit salad, bananas, grapefruit, assorted breads, fresh-baked pastries, assorted juices and coffee. Meander to our outdoor patio seating, where you can dine and enjoy the ocean breeze and stunning views.

Relax and enjoy our beachfront oasis and order room service to bring delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner to you. The Pacific Terrace offers a tempting variety of menu selections for you to enjoy in the comfort of your guest room or while lounging by our oceanfront, heated pool or patio. Dine and watch the sunset over the ocean, surrounded by swaying palm trees wrapped in twinkle lights, and tiki torches.

Since the Pacific Terrace Hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, room charge privileges have been arranged with several excellent Pacific Beach San Diego restaurants. Restaurants that offer charge back to Pacific Terrace are noted with "CB" in the list below. To take advantage of the wide variety of fine dining in San Diego, our well-connected Concierge is available to secure reservations at some of the city's best-known restaurants.

Breakfast Republic - 4465 Mission Blvd.

Fun spot for inventive breakfast plates or craft beer & cocktails in hip, quirky surroundings. 

KONO'S CAFE - 704 Garnet Avenue 

Located within easy walking distance, at the base of the historic Crystal Pier, Kono's is a guest favorite, with a line out the door most days! Pick up an espresso at their coffee kiosk, and sit at one of their picnic tables, enjoying front row seating to the surfers, seagulls, and waves.

The Better Buzz - 1909 Garnet Avenue 

Life is Better, Buzzed. With a motto like that, you've gotta give it a shot. This popular local coffee company has two locations in our backyard - one in Pacific Beach and one in Mission Beach (The Lab). The Lab features two coffee bars- the main bar dispenses delicious coffee drinks, including salted caramel lattes and their Killer Bee (coffee topped with a double or triple espresso) while the other bar is dedicated to the art and science of coffee, educating about coffee cupping and espresso extraction and demonstrating latte art techniques. Better Buzz sources their beans from women-run or women-owned coffee estates and roasts the beans locally.

Bird Rock Coffee Roasters - 829 Garnet Avenue 

Bird Rock Roasters' ocean side coffee shop is a popular spot for locals and visitors and the recipient of many national awards including 2013's top 30 coffee shops by Coffee Review. All coffee drinks are crafted using free-trade beans that are roasted on-site. BRCR has been featured in New York Times, ZAGAT, USA Today, San Diego Magazine, Union Tribune, Eater, Roast Magazine, Barista Magazine. Insider tip: every Friday morning at 10:30 am, Chuck Patton hosts a free "cupping" in the glass-walled demonstration room of his Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in La Jolla, where coffee-lovers line up to unlock the mystery behind a great cup of coffee.

The Broken Yolk - 1851 Garnet Avenue 

Located 1.5 miles from the hotel and home of the famous 12 egg omelet, this diner style restaurant has been a Pacific Beach staple and favorite.

Crushed - 967 Garnet Avenue 

Enjoy a variety of craft beer, unique mimosas, great wine, mouth-watering tapas in a neighborhood atmosphere.

Family-friendly during the day, bar atmosphere at night.

Isabel's Cantina - 966 Felspar St.

Family-friendly with great vegetarian options. Highly recommended for breakfast. 

Bare Back Bar & Grill - 4640 Mission Blvd.

Artisanal burgers, pints & sides in a kitschy, wood-heavy setting with a New Zealand motif. 

The Fishery - 5040 Cass St

Family-friendly serving only seafood. Also contains a fish market within the restaurant.

Family-friendly restaurant offering great happy hour appetizer specials in the bar area on weeknights. 

Fat Fish Cantinagrill - 4477 Mission Blvd.

The Patio on Lamont - 4445 Lamont Street

A friendly, neighborhood restaurant in Pacific Beach, featuring an eclectic wine list, tasty craft cocktails, local beer, and a dynamic small plate food menu.

We all scream for ice cream! Boasting the "one of the most amazing ice cream sandwiches on the planet," they offer over 1500 ice cream sandwich combinations.

The Sweet Shoppe at Belmont Park - 3146 Mission Blvd. 

A sugar-lover's dream. Selections include ice cream, fresh waffle cones (try the chocolate-dipped!), frozen bananas, candy, and house-made cotton candy. Every Wednesday from noon to 1pm, enjoy your favorite treats at the Sweet Shoppe and help benefit a great cause; 100% of sales goes to Make-A-Wish® San Diego.
