Our hot breakfast  is served daily from 7am - 10:30am and features an assortment of American breakfast favorites including scrambled eggs, toast, bacon & sausage, french toast, yogurt, yogurt parfait, cereal, hot oatmeal, fresh fruit salad, bananas, grapefruit, assorted breads, fresh-baked pastries, assorted juices and coffee. Meander to our outdoor patio seating, where you can dine and enjoy the ocean breeze and stunning views.

Relax and enjoy our beachfront oasis and order room service to bring delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner to you. The Pacific Terrace offers a tempting variety of menu selections for you to enjoy in the comfort of your guest room or while lounging by our oceanfront, heated pool or patio. Dine and watch the sunset over the ocean, surrounded by swaying palm trees wrapped in twinkle lights, and tiki torches.

Since the Pacific Terrace Hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, room charge privileges have been arranged with several excellent Pacific Beach San Diego restaurants. Restaurants that offer charge back to Pacific Terrace are noted with "CB" in the list below. To take advantage of the wide variety of fine dining in San Diego, our well-connected Concierge is available to secure reservations at some of the city's best-known restaurants.

Located within easy walking distance, at the base of the historic Crystal Pier, Kono's is a guest favorite, with a line out the door most days! Pick up an espresso at their coffee kiosk, and sit at one of their picnic tables, enjoying front row seating to the surfers, seagulls, and waves.

The Better Buzz - 1909 Garnet Avenue 

Life is Better, Buzzed. With a motto like that, you've gotta give it a shot. This popular local coffee company has two locations in our backyard - one in Pacific Beach and one in Mission Beach (The Lab). The Lab features two coffee bars- the main bar dispenses delicious coffee drinks, including salted caramel lattes and their Killer Bee (coffee topped with a double or triple espresso) while the other bar is dedicated to the art and science of coffee, educating about coffee cupping and espresso extraction and demonstrating latte art techniques. Better Buzz sources their beans from women-run or women-owned coffee estates and roasts the beans locally.

Bird Rock Coffee Roasters - 829 Garnet Avenue 

Bird Rock Roasters' ocean side coffee shop is a popular spot for locals and visitors and the recipient of many national awards including 2013's top 30 coffee shops by Coffee Review. All coffee drinks are crafted using free-trade beans that are roasted on-site. BRCR has been featured in New York Times, ZAGAT, USA Today, San Diego Magazine, Union Tribune, Eater, Roast Magazine, Barista Magazine. Insider tip: every Friday morning at 10:30 am, Chuck Patton hosts a free "cupping" in the glass-walled demonstration room of his Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in La Jolla, where coffee-lovers line up to unlock the mystery behind a great cup of coffee.
