How is parking at the hotel?

Parking is secured, underground parking at a cost of $28.00 per night. Street parking though limited is at no charge.

Is your pool heated?

Yes, our outdoor pool is heated for all season use, and also has a great ocean view.

How far is the hotel from the beach?

Pacific Terrace sits on a small bluff right above the beach. All you have to do is walk out the front door, go down a staircase and you are there! It is about a two minute walk

How do I view or modify my reservation?

Use this link to view, modify, or cancel any reservation made online on our website. Please call the hotel at 858-581-3500 for assistance with reservations made directly with us by phone or online.

I booked on a website other than the hotel website and i need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?

Please contact the customer service department of the website you used to make your reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservation must be cancelled by 4pm PSDT 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid full forfeiture of advance deposit. Reservations must be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival for stays June 1 to August 31st.

Does your hotel require direct deposit?

All reservations require 1st night room & tax deposit at the time of booking. Refundable if reservation is cancelled prior to 72 hours before day of arrival or 7 days prior during summer season.

Is my ID/passport required at check-in?

Yes, a valid government-issued picture ID is required for check-in.

Is a credit card needed at check-in?

Yes.

Can I pay with cash at check-in?

Yes, you may pay with cash but must have an authorized credit card on file for incidentals.

Up to what age do kids stay free?

Kids 15 and under stay for free in existing bedding when accompanying an adult.

Will your rooms allow rollaways and cribs? Is there a charge?

All rooms can accommodate cribs, and they are available through the front desk free of charge. We do have a limited number of aerobeds available for an additional $20 fee per night (based on availability) and these may be accommodated in select rooms.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, and we also feature spacious suites perfect for families.

Do you offer extended stay rooms and rates?

Yes. Please contact our Director of Guest Services to check rates and availability.

Do you offer government and military discounts?

Yes. They are subject to availability, and valid id is required at check-in.

Do you have rooms with kitchens?

All of our guest rooms offer small refrigerators and many of our rooms also feature microwaves. Suites feature wet bars with microwaves and mini refrigerators.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes, we have accessible rooms. Some of these rooms include modified bath tubs with bars and added facility, and some includes a roll-in shower. For more information on the accessible features of our hotel, please call 858-581-3500.

Do you have an early departure fee?

Yes. A full night’s room and tax will be charged.

Is there a fee if I do not show up to check-in to my reservation?

Yes. First’s night’s room and tax will be charged.

I want flowers, chocolates, champagne, gifts sent to the room. How do I do this?

We offer concierge services 7 days a week and our Concierge would be happy to help you make arrangements for additional amenities. Please call 858-581-3500 for assistance.

How can I pay for another person's room?

Please contact our reservations department at 858-581-3500 to obtain a credit card authorization form. A copy of the front and back of the credit card being charged, a copy of photo identification matching the name on the credit card as well as the completed authorization form is required in order to pay for another person’s room if you will not be present at check-in.

What is check-in/check-out time?

Check-in time is at 4 pm, and check-out time is 11am.

Can I guarantee an early check-in or late check-out?

Early check-ins are based on availability on the day of arrival only. Late check-outs are based on availability on the day of departure only. We offer extended late check out upon availability on the day of departure for a fee.

Do you allow smoking on property or in your guest rooms?

There is no smoking allowed inside the property, including in all guestrooms and patio/balcony. Pacific Terrace Hotel will assess a fee of $250 to guests that choose to smoke in guest rooms.

Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?

Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and is available in all guest rooms.

How much do you charge for high-speed WiFi internet access?

It is included with the hotel’s Resort Fee.

Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?

Yes, we offer a 24-hr fitness center with a variety of cardio and weight lifting equipment.

Do you offer bikes for use during my stay?

Yes. This is included with the hotel’s Resort Fee.

Do you have a business center?

No, but computers are available on every floor.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, we have an ocean front outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi which is open from 8am-10pm.

Do you provide beach equipment rentals?

Yes. We offer beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and boogie boards through our hotel front desk. These are included in the hotel’s Resort Fee.

Do you have somewhere for me to store a surfboard?

Yes. We have a surfboard locker for your use while you are a guest.

Do you have a spa on property?

No, we do however offer massage services on property.

Do you have a gift shop?

Yes, we have a gift shop in the lobby that offers a variety of unique merchandise.

Do you have onsite parking? What is the cost? Is it self-parking or valet?

Yes, underground secure parking is provided at $28 a night (valet services are included).

Is there guest laundry at the hotel?

We do have guest laundry facilities on site and offer dry cleaning services as well.

Do you charge a resort fee? If so, what is included?

Yes, a $16 Resort Fee is charged nightly; you can find a full list of inclusions on our resort fee page here.

Does your hotel supply wheel chairs and strollers?

We have a complimentary wheelchair available for guest use on a first come first serve basis. We can also arrange wheelchair, scooter and stroller rental at the Concierge desk.

Pacific Terrace Hotel is not a pet friendly hotel.

How far is the hotel from the airport?

Pacific Terrace is 10 miles from San Diego’s Lindbergh Field.

Do you offer shuttle service from the airport?

No, but we work with a town car service and we can make arrangements for pick up. Please call the hotel at 858-581-3500 to schedule your transportation.

How far is the hotel from local attractions such as SeaWorld®, Belmont Park, The San Diego Zoo, etc.?

No, but we work with a town car service and can make arrangements for you.

Do you have a restaurant on site?

We do not have a full restaurant on site, but we do offer an all you can eat American style hot buffet breakfast every morning from 7 AM-10:30 AM along with in room and poolside dining options.

Do you offer room service? What are the hours?

Yes, room service is available from local restaurant from 11am to 10pm.

Do you offer poolside service?

Yes. Drinks are available all throughout the day. Snacks, lunch and dinner options are available.
