Their eclectic\r\ntake on traditional flavors makes them one of the most unique ice cream shops\r\nin San Diego. And don’t worry, you won’t have to choose between peanut butter and\r\nguava jelly or fan-favorite chocolate coconut macadamia nut, Hammond’s offers\r\nflights of 32 flavors so you can try them all.\r\n\r\n2. \r\nThe\r\nFish Shop\r\nThis local fish shop has been serving up fresh and delicious seafood since\r\n2010. Known for its simple menu, which consists of fresh seafood, your choice\r\nof battered or fried, seasonings, and an array of mouthwatering sides, has made\r\nthis Pacific Beach mainstay a go to joint for a casual portside dinner.\r\n\r\n3. \r\nVallarta\r\nExpress\r\nSelf-proclaimed as a “FreshMex” eatery, this place sources its ingredients from\r\naround San Diego to serve up monstrous portions of Surf & Turf burritos,\r\nCarne Asada Fries, and a myriad Baja-Cali favorites. \r\n\r\n4. \r\nKonito’s\r\nAnd of course, we have to plug sister restaurant to our favorite neighborhood\r\neatery, Kono’s Café. Konito’s does breakfast, and they do it very, very well.\r\nServing up morning favorites all day long, Konito’s is known for dishing out\r\nunique breakfast burritos full of San Diego flavor. \r\n\r\n5. \r\nThe\r\nPatio on Lamont\r\nThis locally sourced farm to table modern eatery takes the best of what San Diego\r\nhas to offer to fill their menu with sustainable and unique spins on American\r\nclassics.
