San Diego is the ideal place to visit in the winter months. It's less crowded but our beachfront property is the ideal location for winter getaway with lower rates and our convenient location steps away from the Pacific. Daytime temperatures are generally 60-70 F, and there are plenty of things to do for a variety of tastes and interests. The weather is typically sunny in San Diego, however, it does become a bit chilly in the winter months, so remember to dress in layers, and bring a light travel umbrella when you pack, just in case. Most helpful is a water resistant jacket and fleece for those casual excursions.

Daring surfers live for the winter surfing swells in San Diego. In mid-February, the wildflowers of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park bloom in a rainbow of colors. The off-season is the perfect time to experience popular destinations like the San Diego Zoo. Balboa Park and its Museums plus the Zoo are only 30 minutes away from Pacific Terrace. After a day of exploring, you can come back to your comfortable deluxe accommodations on the ocean.
