Have you made a New Year's resolution to sample new and delicious foods? Well, you're in luck. Over 8 amazing days, more than 180 fabulous San Diego restaurants will take part in San Diego Restaurant Week. It's a biannual celebration organized by the San Diego County Chapter of the California Restaurant Association. All types of cuisines will be represented, from American and Argentinean to South African and Thai. January 17-24, 2016, creative San Diego chefs from all over the County, including Mission Bay and the Beaches, Old Town and La Jolla, will celebrate by utilizing local, seasonal ingredients to present their latest culinary innovations.
You'll also find a few different price points, from $10-$20 2-course lunches to $20-$50 3-course dinners. In addition to promoting local restaurants, San Diego Restaurant Week shines a spotlight on local purveyors of the ingredients that go into all this delicious food-the fishermen, the farmers, the vintners and brewers. Whether it's date night or a day out with the whole family, San Diego Restaurant Week is a fun, exciting way to experience local cuisine while you're staying at Pacific Terrace Hotel.
