12th Annual San Diego Bay Food + Wine Festival
Nov. 16-22, 2015
Over 150 wineries, breweries and purveyors of spirits will be at this year's annual festival! They'll be joined by 60 of San Diego's finest restaurants showcasing their culinary finesse. This is the biggest food and wine festival of its kind on the West Coast-about 10,000 are expected to attend. The 2015 line-up includes some tried and true favorites plus a few innovative additions.
What can you expect? How about celebrity chef dinners, cooking classes, specialty panels and tasting that focus specifically on the San Diego food scene! Local celebrity chefs on hand will include Chad White of Común Kitchen & Tavern, Kim Kramer of Estancia La Jolla and Brian Bonney of the Oceanaire Seafood Room. Celebrity guest chefs feature the likes of Rick Bayless, Katsuya Fukushima of Daikaya and Suzette Gresham of Acquerello. On the wine, beer and spirits side, the list of celebrated guests and experts is just as impressive, including names like KOVAL Distillery, Rodney Strong Vineyards and Baja Brewing Company.
There's a lot to choose from, and you can purchase tickets for specific events, or purchase a package to experience more of the festival. Packages are between $540 and $1,895. Tickets are also available for individual events, and run between $45 for something like A Taste for Tapas and $350 for Exploration: BAJA, an all-day immersive tour of the food and drink of this unique region.
